Apple came to us thanks to a wonderful class of grade 3&4's. They did some fundraising for a Social Responsibility project and entrusted us with the $400 that they raised.

Apple was a yearling and very nervous of humans.  She was terribly matted and malnourished.

She wanted to be friends with the other Minis and with us, but we knew it would take some time.

Apple and Mulligan really hit it off!

A pair of scissors and four hours of amazing patience and bravery on her part cleared her coat of matts. 

The approaching summer weather took care of the rest and her beauty shone through!

A few months of good food and patient handling meant that Apple was ready to go to her new home.
