Sampson was seized by the SPCA and held in their care while his case went through the BC Supreme Court. He won the right to a better life and so was able to come to us continue his journey.
Sampson has an old shoulder injury that has completely torqued his front end, but does not hamper his getting around.
He will benefit from walking over polls and other strengthening exercises and his adopters must commit to spending this time with him.
Adoption fee: $650

The following is a Blog for Pipsqueak Paddocks. This is intended to let potential adopters see more of the personality of the Minis they may be interested in. Also, it is for the general public to have a glimpse of our daily activities and adventures. Many thanks to our wonderful volunteer, Kristie, who provides us with most of the terrific pictures that we use! ... |

Meet Robin!
Well... we picked up another surrender today. We really try to stick to Minis, but we keep coming across ponies who need us too! Robin is 12.2hh, but sweet as pie and he does a great Mini impression! He's going to be in rehab for the next six weeks to two months and then hopefully he'll be healthy enough to find a new home. Robin is quite thin and may have Cushings. The vet pulled blood today to check for Cushings indicators and we consulted on how to bring his weight up carefully. The farrier is coming on Friday to start working on his feet... they are very long and will take a while to get under control. He'll have everything from dental work to worming happening in the next week or so.
Robin is very friendly and calls to us whenever we walk by... or whenever we walk anywhere actually! LOL He comes right over to us when we go through the Paddocks and seems to love attention. He was great for the vet and I expect he'll behave nicely for the farrier as well. It's going to be a long haul for him, but we're happy to have him here and his sweet disposition makes working with him very rewarding. He's still not quite dried out in these pictures, but he should be by tommorow and then he'll be groomed from head to tail! His hair is incredibly long (about four inches) so we're going to have to get out the dog dematters I think! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Leave Comment: |
