Kipper- 5 years old- bay- gelding (as of April)- about 30"Kipper is a very sweet Mini. However, he does still need work on his manners. We are thinking that his name should have been "Houdini" as he can get out of his halter and some paddocks when you turn your back!  He needs very secure fencing!Kipper is overweight but has lost over 60 pounds already! His adopters must be able to commit to his diet and exercise plan.Adoption fee: $650info@pipsqueakpaddocks.com604-316-5060

The following is a Blog for Pipsqueak Paddocks.

This is intended to let potential adopters see more of the personality of the Minis they may be interested in.  Also, it is for the general public to have a glimpse of our daily activities and adventures.

Many thanks to our wonderful volunteer, Kristie, who provides us with most of the terrific pictures that we use!

Update on Robin

Robin has Cushings.  Now, we need to carefully put weight on him and get him started on medication.  Our vet is kindly donating the meds that he needs.  A huge thank you to Dr. Anne Dick!  The farrier came and worked on Robin and he's walking so much better already!  She'll be back in a couple of weeks to have another go.  He has foundered.

Robin has no reserves to deal with stress.  We are trying to keep things as low-key as we can, though he does have a lot of people to see and things to be done to him.  He had a down day after worming, but has perked up again.  I would not call his appetite hearty, but we've put hay in all of his favourite hang-out spots and he seems to be eating enough throughout the day.  After many hours, he is almost combed out.  I wanted to be sure to get through that bearskin rug before it rained again.

Robin should be able to pull through if he will eat, and if he responds well to the medication.  Everything else is managable.  Keep your fingers crossed!
