Sampson - somewhere in his teens - chestnut and flaxen with a star - gelding (as of April) - about 32" Sampson was seized by the SPCA and held in their care while his case went through the BC Supreme Court. He won the right to a better life and so was able to come to us continue his journey. Sampson has an old shoulder injury that has completely torqued his front end, but does not hamper his getting around. He will benefit from walking over polls and other strengthening exercises and his adopters must commit to spending this time with him. We are thinking that his name should have been "Houdini" as he can get out of his halter and some paddocks when you turn your back! He needs very secure fencing! Kipper is overweight but has lost over 60 pounds already! His adopters must be able to commit to his diet and exercise plan. « view all posts Full House! Well, we've just had word that Rufio will be returning to us on Monday. We are so excited to see the change in him! I'll be getting a lesson when we go so that I'll know what exercises to keep up on with him. He will be up for Adoption as soon as I get a handle on the changes in his personality and attitude. So, we've stepped up Cavalier's introduction to Mercury and Robin in order that Rufio will have a pen to return to! They had SO much fun yesterday! I don't think it will be a problem for them to live together. Cavalier immediately had a rip-roaring buck and gallop fest in the "BIG" paddock. He got Merc and Robin all riled up... Robin even RAN! LOL! I went to get my camera and of course, they stopped as soon as I got back! But, later on Mercury and Cavalier were at it again, so I got some cool shots and video for ya'll! Here's Mercury and Cavalier wrestling. Here they are, wrestling some more. And here Merc and Cavalier are wrestling until Robin gets all grumpy and tells them to "stop having fun!"
