Jupiter came to us weighing 320 pounds.  He was easily 100 pounds overweight!

We guessed by his coat condition and physical appearance that he was likely locked in a stall for at least half a year, and likely far longer.

Though much improved (now months later) he likely has permanent hind-end damage due to lack of exercise and carrying all of that extra weight.

He continues to make improvements though, and moves much better these days.

One of our volunteers fell in love with Jupiter and has adopted him!

So, his home is now where he has been comfortable for many months already!  We are pleased to have Jupiter hanging around as Ambassador and so that we can monitor his physio first-hand.
