We bid on Rocky Road at an auction.  He was in decent shape, but had a nasty bite on his withers from a larger horse.  So, we brought him home.

It became apparent that he mistrusted people in general.  My toddler was the only one who could freely walk up to him to pet him.

Rocky learned to make new friends.  He was a favourite of even the bossiest mares!

Rocky turned out to have a real talent for carting.

One day, someone came to pick up a different Mini for a friend.  He noticed Rocky and went over to pet him... wouldn't you know it - Rocky actually let him!  He went to his new home later that month!

It was a home that provided plenty of opportunity for driving!

Rocky has since won several driving competitions and is used as a lesson horse to introduce others to the wonderful world of Miniature Horses!
