It was an interesting day yesterday. We had a 380 pound Mini who needed a serious operation, and so had to be put on an operating table. Luckily, we've got access to a great facility and a very nice neighbour with a handy forklift! Our new arrival, Thor, went for a little ride and is recovering nicely from his cryptorchid gelding surgery.

Let's see... what else is new... Scout is adopted! Silver and Snap have gone home together as very good pals! Banjo is stable and feeling good again! Midnight is putting on the pounds and feeling great! She runs and bucks like nobody's business! Chicory's adoption is pending, which is awesome! Whiskey and Echo are doing great at their foster homes. Basil is doing well, starting to shed some pounds, and I've sent off a blood test to determine if he is indeed a stallion or not.
We also have a familiar face back at the Paddocks. Opal's adopter has had some life changes and had to give her up. Opal brought her little buddy, Archie, along as well. They are both sweet as pie and will be put up for adoption very soon. Here's Archie...
